Getting a web site is a three-step process |

Step 1:

Domain Names (www.yourname.com)
You will need a web address for your site, a "dot com," so that when
someone wants to visit your site, they will type your web address into the address bar of their Internet browser.
You can either buy a domain name (www.you.com) or use your name in
combination with ours, called a sub-domain name (www.you.bazooti.com),
which you may use free of charge with a free, 14-day trial web site. |

Step 2:

Web Site Hosting (storage space for your web pages)
The pages you create must be stored ("hosted") on a computer ("server")
that allows people to access them via the Internet. Therefore you will
need to get a "hosting account" that will allow you to store pages on the
server. |

Free Trial Site: with sub-domain (eg. www.yourname.bazooti.com). The best
choice for beginners. If you then decide that you would like to have your own domain name, you can upgrade.
Non-profit hosting plans are available at reduced rates for churches, clubs, community associations and other non-profit organizations.
Basic, Advanced and Premium hosting plans can be used for business, personal and family sites. When you choose one of these plans the cost of registering a .com, .net or .org domain name is included. If you would like to register a .ca, .name or .tv domain name there is an extra charge.
